Crooked might be viewed as being PC, but what he was saying is real talk. Too much creative energy is wasted in hip-hop (music) on competition! I use to do it real bad with Lil Wayne and Soljah Boy...until I realized them being who they are has no effect on me being who I am. If I'm gonna talk down on a cat cuz what he's doing is "wack to me" 90% of the time all thats gonna happen is I'm gonna be seen as a hater. Why not do like Crooked said and lead by example? Selah

@ginsuthaironchef - I don't think he was being politically correct at all. He was like that in the studio too - just talking about bringing real hip hop back. In a way he's saying they aren't even a threat that's why he won't even acknowledge them or try and compare them on the veteran rapper level. He's very anti-sell out and going commercial and is more about bringing awareness that hip hop is still alive so even if the youngins aren't great rappers - at least they're tryin lol I.M.O. :)

I been listening to u for a couple of years now crooked and u always been talkin about real shit in your songs! and that's what we need right now brotha! Time has passed...and Pac songs still help a lot of us nowdays to see things for what they really are. You can be proud to be one of his last disciple. Rap music is still alive cuz u got heart. Man really, he was being a typical politically correct rapper. In hiphop the way that you take an emcee under your wing and teach them the holes in their style is by callin them out and dissing them. U mean to tell me that if crooked calls wockaflockaflame and tells him his shit is wack...he would change? of course not. joel knew that crooked wasn't bein real. he was drunk and being pc.
