Maybe remove the portion of deck, and put it back when waterproofing is complete. Not that difficult.

Really? I think excavating and repairing the problems that allow the water to enter rather than just letting it in to pump it back out is a good solution. I do not think it is legit or healthy to have wet walls or damp basements, which is the number one complaint concerning inside water control systems.

The best option although the most expensive is to dig arround the foundation and install a proper drainage solution. Water proof the outside since the idea is to prevent the water from saturating the Cement block anyway right? Why would I seal the interior wall knowing that water is present on the exterior wall or have someone break the cement slab in my home and install a drainage system and a sump pump? The exterior is being weakend by having water constantly there.

If a drainage system was installed properly in the first place then there should be no reason why the newer homes that are shown in the video should be having those problems, but then we know contractors don't always do what is right but rather what is cost effective to sell the home since they aren't living in that home anyway. My home is 40+ years old and nobody back then thought of water proofing basements. Cont

Water enters for two reasons. Cracks or openings in the walls, or poor or nonfunctional drain tile. Clean outs, which are access pipes to the footing tile are installed so the tile can be snaked if needed. These footing tiles are not prone to clogging anymore than the ones you place under the floor. Your systems will effectively deal with seepage, but are unable to solve wet, cracking or deteriorating wall issues. Let the water in and pump it out, or keep it out all together. That is the choice.

Unhealthy? It sure is radon to mold, bugs so on and so fourth. The real experts in this field have taken notice to these problems and have implemented the proper moister control procedures necessary for this common problem. Now dont get me wrong bull headed people just like YOU on interior work, will not except or apply the ever growing science of this industry. You people are just happy with black and white foil tv's. While the rest of us enjoy HD and 3D because we love to keep up to date.

@wtrprfr1 REALY? As we ALL know in this industry how exterior waterproofing have two problems. One..When not if, When they clog you have to rip all of it out all over again. can you warranty a lifetime on your work? Two what happens when ground water saturation begin to set in UNDER your precious pipe and tarred "waterproofed" Job? Please do not say install an interior sump pump because you just defeated your whole thought process. now lets address your hypothesis's on interior...........

With all this information and FACT explained why exterior waterproofing is wrong, not ONE of you "outside guys" have had a response helping your cause. Did you think calling netprofits incompetent helps your case? Us "inside guys" lol whatever that is...will keep doing the legit most healthy and CORRECT waterproofing advancements to date. Instead of whining on blogs and vids, become mature and comment with real solutions to homeowners problems. Until then try to stay in business lmao

just more nonsense,lies,misrepresentatio
ns from an incompetent self-serving inside system co,sure is. -
Those views may reflect some of the homes fixing waterproofing from the outside but the drainpipe picture does not reflect the outside drainage. I know this because I am the one who took the picture of the clogged pipe on the left at my shop. It was part of an interior drainage system.

Are you serious? Its seriously not that difficult.
Absolutely... but that's what I'm showing in this video.
Additionally, removing part of the deck, and waterproofing that part, will not secure the area's that are not taken out.
This is especially obvious with the other items around the house (porches, driveway, landscaping, etc.)

Absolutely from a company that wants to do it from the inside.
Difficulty is not a discussion here - it's simply showing what is involved when outside work is performed.
Much of the items shown here are issues when doing exterior basement waterproofing. How else do you waterproof the foundation? Dig under a deck and hold it up with 2X4's? Or just not waterproof that area?
