This is a great stand alone sci-fi film. Final Fantasy in the title confuses things a bit. Also interesting to note that this is similar technology to the upcoming Adventures of Tintin film presented by Steven Spielberg & Peter Jackson - has it taken that long for this technology to come back around?

This movie would sell ALOT better if they remove the "Final Fantasy" from the title.

@PeterPalfrei This movie would of been a lot better had it actually fit in the Final Fantasy universe. But it was way ahead of it's time, on a technical standpoint. It's a real shame this movie's failure is why Square left Hollywood.
But hey, you love this movie and I love Avatar.

i remember when i first rented this on vhs and it took me like 20 minutes or so to decide whether or not this was animation or real people.
this would prob look pretty sweet on blu-ray :D
