  • Very good. Thanks for continuing to bring these things to the surface. I used to believe that the lib/dems where generally well intentioned, but a misguided group. With the recent scandals and lies being exposed about the left, (ACORN being one of the most recent) all but the most leftist radicals of the population no longer trust the Lib/Dems. I'm learning to see them as corrupt and perhaps even evil in some cases. The worst thing you can say about the Reps is they were greedy. But never evil.

  • "The C-SPAN networks will commit the necessary resources to covering all of the sessions LIVE and in their entirety," Lamb wrote. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi appeared to object to the premise behind the request. Sen. Barack Obama first pledged opening up legislative negotiations to C-SPAN cameras during a Democratic presidential primary debate with Sen. Hillary Clinton in Los Angeles on Jan. 31, 2008.

  • 1/8/10: Brian Lamb, the C-SPAN CEO, wrote to leaders in the House and Senate Dec. 30 urging them to open "all important negotiations, including any conference committee meetings," to televised coverage on C-SPAN, imploring Congress to open up the last leg of health care "reform" negotiations to the public, as some top Democrats lay plans to hash out the final product among themselves...

  • respect--in politics--is over-rated. but I agree with you, mostly.

  • What do you think Barack O-bortion is hiding?

  • Here we are a month later...and stilll Barack is making his dirty Chicago deals behind closed doors...anyone see it on C-span? No? Me either...the man has a serpents tongue...forked and twisted.

  • They weren't defending America - they were attacking Iraq.

You're right about the health care takeover though.

Both instances illustrate not only a lack of respect from one "party" to another, but the lack of respect our Government has for us.

The reason they hide from each other is because they're afraid the other "side" will inform us of what is going on behind those doors to gain an upper hand in the next election cycle.

They're really closing those doors on us.

  • "...who are making arguments on behalf of the drug companies or the insurance companies..."

So companies who currently provide financial protection from costly medical emergencies or produce life saving medications are across the board enemies of the people?

Every time one of these people speak about drug and insurance companies they are either evil in general with some exceptions or just all evil.
