Worcester Fencing Club held a one week stage combat camp in which participants were able to choreograph their own fights (under the direction of WFC's head coach, Doug Jacobs) for inclusion in the film short, The Most Dangerous Blade, written by Tilia Klebenov Jacobs. At the end of the week, over the course of one day, And 5, 4 Films' Anne Masters and Jasen Boyle directed and filmed the project. The project features original music by Bad Foley.

WFC will be hosting a similar camp, in collaboration with And 5, 4 Films, in February 2008. To learn more, click here:

  • why? this is nothing to do wiv fencing lol

  • Worcester Fencing Club in Worcester, MA offers a stage combat and movie making workshop to teens over their school vacations. So, being that they are all fencing students, it does have to do with fencing. =)

  • hey this is sonya a star from the movie. anyways, it does have to do with fencing. fencing is swordfighting but its more proper than what you see here. back in the day fencing was used as a way to defend your honor & defense. now, its more of a sport used for entertainment. in order do use rapiers, you must no basic techniques of fencing. its pretty similar, its just the weapon is different. so stop putting down this movie. its a spoof, based of a famous short story that involves some fencing.

  • i'm aware of that. but it's... a.... fencing.... club..... that makes the movie.... so.... really there's no need to discuss this....

  • no.

    using swrds is not fencing.
