Like in muslim countries usual, a girl child is married to an older man. Just look this and tell me Islam is not an ideology of apes!

@kreutzritter1967 Did not at all say that marrying a child a good. In fact I started by saying that I was sickened by it.

The problem is that people see things so black and white. I see people trying paint an entire religion the same picture. Just how there are many different people in our society each with different values and variations, there are just that many variations in the Muslim communities. They are not all the same.

@GloriaGloryGirl all religions use some sort of threat of horrible retribution if followers are found to be in contravention of some doctrine written before the age of intelligent mankind. i would like to think all people are smarter than 100 years ago as they have experienced much more and its now a smaller world... so why do they, all religious freaks, insist on rituals that we all know are just for show and nothing more? jews, muslims, christians, etc. all do it... and all teach how to do it

@akkafietje When I say I know alot of (American) Muslims I KNOW A LOT OF MUSLIMS! In their book child sex/marriage is WRONG! After 18yrs it is ok. Over there in "those countries" they obviously are interpreting the Quaran badly. They are making it seem like "kid sex is right in Islam"...ewww. American Muslim actually find that sick! Which tells me this is a social issue not religious. And as far as Moh., that was back in the day...you know even European Christians married young girls back then
