My first experience in an actual tamashikiri (cut test) with an actual real sword. The sword is Raptor Kogarasu Maru Zukuri ( Little Crow ) And the experience was.. well.. pretty damn exciting! Even though it was (for now) on just a couple of water bottles. The blade was made by Hanwei and forged in 5160 high carbon steel and specially heat treated to produce very high resilience and greater tolerance of misdirected cuts than a conventional differentially tempered blade. The cuts were really easy and required no real effort, but i know i lack a lot of form and need practice.
