What class and level is your character? And which difficulty's secret passage are you entering? I'll advise to only go there after you complete that difficulty. As for Nate, here are some things that could help: 1) have a pet that will draw his attention, 2) have a stronger weapon to kill him faster, 3) have a better armor and defensive ability to survive better, 4) watch him closely; it's often easy to predict when he is about to hit you; once he gets aggravated - retreat.

i ran into Toxeus on Epic..it was hard to kill the mutherfucker ,he killed me 2 times...
but i got an awesome armor...Juggernauts armor of Essence +20% dmg and then +31 str.. and +34 armor ! :D

How many times have you defeated him? Just remember that it's about chance. It could drop on your first try or it could on your 20th.
