an extremely boiled down version from a lot of footage.
there will probably be a more extreme version of this in the future.

  • @jmsmessner You're very right, and I have several dirt bikes now. This was just the little bike that got me to drivers ed when i was 16. those were some good times!

  • looks kinda like dirtbike riding, what exactly is the point of strapping an engine to a mountain bike? these bikes are cool, dont get me wrong but i think a dirtbike would be better for what your tryin to do

  • Awesome video ... What song or music is that ?

  • hahahahahahahahahaha story of my life, my engine mount shit itself, ive learnt that Australian made zip ties are stronger then Japanese alloy

  • You gotta have a pepairing kit with you

  • Taco time? It was still running! Cool. Glad you are ok. Get rid of the can opener and get a spring tensioner, then run the chain just short of tight, letting the spring take it up. That will cut out the vibration and keep it from derailling. Also, you might need to file the tops of the teeth a little or bevel the gear. Good luck. I would like a mtn bike better than my beach cruiser

  • is mountain biking hard on those motor mounts?

  • Ha. I guess it was just your time to fail. Happens to everyone though :)

  • EPIC FAILIUM! :D

  • I know, the parts you get with the kits just suck. I think they deberately soften the parts. It's just funny after you quit useing the chump Chinese parts things quit breaking. I replaced all the mounting bolts with American metric threaded bolts that were the same specs as grade 8..none of them have failed. :p I've taken out the chain because the motor mount broke. I saw a nice setup here on utube, welded mound using band clamps for the rear mount.
