By removing the audio there's less chance that I will buy it from Warner Archive because I don't know if I'll like it or not. The whole purpose of a trailer is get people interested in the movie-- it's like free advertising for Warner. Smart people over there!

@SpaceComics - That "someone" is WMG, or Warner Music Group. In most cases, nobody at WMG even watched the video. Their legal department's computer software was merely tripped by the title of the clip, thus automatically generating an order for YouTube to disable the audio. Unfortunately, this sledgehammer approach is used by all the big entertainment companies, and resulted in the notorious Viacom Cull, which caused many clips to be unjustly culled. I think there were lawsuits about that.

@SpaceComics ~ That's just crazy. No one is making money or losing money from your post; this is strictly for entertainment. This falls under what I refer to as "bureaucratic bullshit". I doubt very much that composer Leonard Rosenman, who had either just died or was close to death when you posted this, would have been monitoring YT to locate a four minute trailer containing his music. America has succumbed to the addiction of litigation. If it was Turner, their priorities are highly misplaced.

I want the movie, the whole movie, why doesn't Netflix have it? What's the obstacle?

It was posted with the original sound from the trailer, but youtube removed it because someone claimed it was their original music.
