I have a couple of JD 78s on Columbia (but not this one) and they both sound very clean and well recorded with minimal surface noise and no distortion. If you have it can you post 'Get Along Home Cindy' which was the flip to 'Footprints In The Snow'.
anyone got any 50's clips? how come nothing from bear family? hi cherokeecrazyhorse your daddy omg how cool!!! my fave is "which way did he go" the 2nd version, hugs. biddy biddy bum bum
This is my daddy, he recorded this in England, one of my fav's but the best one i loved the most was KAWLIGAH, he'd play it anytime I'd ask!!! Sadly he passed away in 2000, but thanks to Bill Chambers (Kasey's dad) he got a final cd out, called From Tennessee to Taree...
@RockabillyWilly1 Bill Flagg was the first to use the word. He bagan calling his music "Rockbilly" in 1953. But in the 50s most singers just called their music Rock n Roll, Even if some like Gene Vincent called their music Rockabilly.
@cherokeecrazyhorse ..see Jonny Duncan ..Snakes crawl at night ...posted here...
