The makers of the "Hang" are no longer creating a musical instrument. PANArt is now focusing on creating a tool for meditation that does not follow the conventions of traditional musical notes. If you would like to purchase a hand-pan, I would suggest you look into one of the several other instrument makers who are creating very high-quality instruments.

    No, he probably referred to the production stops in late autumn every year. PanArt Hanghang are hand build and only so many every year. That's why you have to write letters if you want to purchase one. But after they stop building hangs for the year any letters you write to them concerning a purchase will be turnend down. As I understand they only do research and the like during the last months of the year.
