I know. He sounds tougher, whereas Mower sounds more relaxed.
Ever heard of a series he did called Target? Quite a lot of people called it a poor man's Sweeney *lol*. However, I think Mower was a pretty good actor. Not as good as the likes of Woodward, Thaw and Shaw, but he was watchable enough.

You know, Dennis Waterman has said that he never watched an episode of The Professionals, although I reckon Carter would have liked Bodie and Doyle, but I don't think Regan would have liked Bodie much.

Go for it. On the Sweeney lounge. someone actually did that and he wrote in two scenes where Regan and Bodie actually fight with each other. One time, they had a scrap in front of Doyle and the other Squad members!
