This game is fairly epic, despite its age. You get some very awesome "Hell yeah" moments. Like jetpacking with a Black Knight and ending on top of an Atlas. Or running around with this music running and hearing the sweet sound of firing AC20's

@here4good Its a good game, but its story is a little weak. There are only a few "Holy shit moments" but its decent. I haven't played fallout, but I am thinking about getting Skyrim.

@JessFromMead im pretty sure its the fact that as we play newer games, we gradually get used to said "holy shit" moments like those whether we know it or not. i can only assure you that if we had the current gen console and games about a decade before we had them as is. im pretty sure we'd notice more "holy shit" moments in our younger days. in other words, there's probably plenty more of those moments than we care to notice :\

@here4good Played the mission Moonlight in my Deimos. As soon as I came over the ridge shit started coming from every direction. Then I remembered how much I loved this game. Why aren't more games have that "Holy shit" factor that Mercs had when you started off facing 3 mechs, then 5, then an entire fucking company!

My copy of Mercs is screwed up, the installation barely ever works. And last night, the game wouldn't run after I made a profile called "Ummm....." It wasn't funny.

@LegoPatapon If you go into the folder that contains the game and delete "Ummm....." the game should run properly. It gets twitchy when you use certain things for names.

The other songs are mostly just uninteresting background loops that can't be taken off the disc. If I do find a way to get them I will upload them immediatley.
