@cmednc 'Remind everyone about these things, and command them in God's presence to stop fighting over words. Such arguments are useless, and they can ruin those who hear them.'
To me, it means don't SQUABBLE with Christians over semantic definitions of words. It can cause hurt which undermines the other believer. It is like saying 'Don't play word games'.
Do you think I am playing word games, and you are trying to make a point?

@Texas75023 and what's your take on 2 Timothy 2:14
-
@cmednc So, given the challenge BY the Quran's author, ONCE YOU FIND even one single error in it, it cannot be from God. End of debate.
The fact is that the Quran has MULTITUDE of errors. Numerical. Factual. Logical. Historical. Contradictions. Many many errors, which ALL prove that the Quran is NOT from God.
While it may prove to be an interesting literary read, it is not a message from Almighty God which will bring you Eternal Salvation, my friend.

@cmednc one of the synonyms of 'salient' is 'important, striking, remarkable'. I was saying your question is not important.
It does not matter if I have read the Quran cover to cover in sequence in order to judge it. In fact, the Quran issues a bold, braggadocios challenge. If it WERE NOT from Allah, you would find mistakes in it. Or, stated in a positive, testable hypothesis, IF YOU CAN find any errors in it, it CANNOT be from Allah. THIS according to the Qurans self-claim of perfection.

@Texas75023 and salient means....

@cmednc Greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
I've been critically studying Islam for 3 years now. I've diligently searched the Quran on a topical basis, to see what it REALLY SAYS, and to evaluate the Quran against ITS OWN claims.
But I do not think one NEEDS to read the Quran sequentially, cover-to-cover, in order to appraise and evaluate it against it's own challenge. It is NOT sequential.
I'd say the answer is 'NO' and therefore your question is not salient.
As you said Jesus (pbuh) was talking to the disciples that the comfortor would come, but you do not realize that if you assume that it is the Holy SPirit, the Holy Spirit was already with the disciples and was already active.
And I would like to point out that the word Holy is actually absent from Codex Sinaticus which is the oldest Bible found.

@Taqwafirst LOL! I've already ANSWERED this before, my friend. In my videos, you will FIND the answer you seek.
The Holy Spirit, who is the 3rd MEMBER of the Trinity, is the Comforter. This is clear and True and absolutely known WITHOUT QUESTION by believers, brother. It is quite silly, actually, to hear all the Mohammedan ATTEMPTS to claim otherwise. Because in your darkness, you simply cannot see the Truth of the Matter.
Best Regards, my friend. Glory to Jesus, the Son of God.

@Texas75023 So you have partitioned One God into 3 members. God is inseparable. Also think about it, people referred to saints as Angels back then, and Angels as Spirits, and used to call prophets some until our days: Holy Prophet, Holy Saint. A prophet , An Angel metaphorically. A Holy Prophet, A Holy Angel. And Angel is also Spirit, A Holy Angel is also a Holy Spirit?

@Taqwafirst Not I, my friend. God HIMSELF has revealed His three-part nature. And all true believers who honestly respect God, are willing to accept God's message about Himself.
Your confusion about 'Angel', 'Spirit', 'Prophet' and 'Holy' simply demonstrates the confusion suffers about these topics, brother. You should begin to read the Word of God, the Bible, and accept GOD'S definition of these words.
God is not the author of confusion.
Best Regards,
