well a way is after u are done with the sunstone quest .dont go back to dalan's because u will loose the second member of your party(dont remember her name) go and chain up wolfs and alpha wolfs u want o chain them because the higher the chain the higher the chance to get a rare drop any way chain around 80 and then sell their wolf pelt and wind stones than u will have money to buy around 25 phoenix downs and then do the dustia method.

There's a nearby merchant i think he's like 4 areas away (Not in Rabanastre)who sells them lol and if you have like 10 phoenix downs for example you usually make the same price as they were worth or more without breaking the chain lol

If u let the exp and lp points gained appear then u have 2 go 3 zones away.
So to keep him there zone out before u see the exp and lp gained

oh...thats how you do that. It's a dark monster, so healing, kills it! It also comes when you're low on health and without a weapon?Cool. Thanks for posting this!!!

sometimes he spawns too far away for me to get the item so i normally just ski[ the item, but i still have like 99 books and 30ish flamestaffs. go me :)

No...you don't exit to the title screen. You can go back to town, leave your health the way it is and all, and come back. He'll still be there. Just that your chain will be broken but he still reappears.

i've made this once, it's a nice trick. but i have several questions: how do you obtain so many phoenix downs at the beginning ?? and did you make the "rogue tomato" quest and did not go to dalan's yet ?

Just to clean that up a little bit, you need to kill dustia (phoenix down), and immediately run to his side depending on where he spawned, grab the stuff on your way out, and leave in under 2-3 seconds. If you see the exp/lp appear, exit to title screen, you blew it.
