Crx Fuel Problem? HELP!

So everything was fine untill I went to the gas station and filled up. I tried starting my car and it caught and then died. did that about 5 times then it got some gas on the 6th try but still died, tryed again and reved it a little and all of the suddin it caught and reved really high and ideled fine...got home with no problems and tried it again... and same problem (got it to start though)....went inside for a bit came out and now it starts fine.. still worryed though. Any thoughts?

It could be the fuel pump relay. That is exactly what happened to my CRX.

so, i have the same problem and it was the rotor button and fuel pump..!

I have the same problem its eithet the fuel pump or the relay pray it the rwlay cause the pump is a bitch lol

I repaired the same problem on my own ed9, it was the fuel relay :)

This is so dumb all you have is a plugged fuel filter

i have the exact same problem. the car will start up but after if warms up it will die on me, i replaced the battery and alt, and it still does the same thing. after the car warms up it will idle back and forth around 300-600rpm and seems the fuel cuts off and dies. if anyone knows whats going on please help, i no it either has to be the fuel pump or filter

Just went through the same thing I had to order a new distributor for mine because my crx had a two round connectors instead of the square, then i did a complete tune up distrib, distrib rotor, fuel filter, dis. cap, ngk spark plugs an bocsh dis wire, after that car started up fine, but i had the original fuel filter in it so with out the back pressure i lost my fuel pump so i had to drop the tank and get a new fuel pump.
