2008 Solar Eclipse at Novosibirsk, Siberia

Video of us at the 2008 total eclipse of the sun in Novosibirsk, Siberia. You can see some of the effects of the eclipse in the horizon as well as the darkening sky.
Originally the intent was to record our experience but it turned out that it captured the moon's shadow moving from right to left across the view. If you're looking for an eclipse itself see my other videos.

@wbogardus wrong, it was a solar eclipse. Lunar eclipses are at night, solar is during the day. which the earths shadow covers the moon at night = lunar eclipse. when the moon's shadow covers the sun = solar. this is a solar eclipse

@JustinCase10261 That comment that your remark was based on was in reference to the person who was speaking about seeing a lunar eclipse three weeks ago. I think you might have over looked that.

On the other hand my original purpose was simply to record our experience, not the eclipse itself. Then when I checked it out it was apparent that it also recorded the moon's shadow passing across the sky from right to left.

I was there for that eclipse and everything malfunctionned when totality occured. However I enjoyed the show.
