@dqvhncity CoF doesn't have to sound like those bands to be black metal, CoF are much better than a lot of black metal bands out there. They don't do the same shit over and over again and they don't say "we're so cool cvz we worship Satan!!1" like most other black metal bands do.

@SatanFang : Objectively, CoF does not really sound 'black metal' for me, though they do retain some element of black metal. I'm not a music analyst, but if you listen to some typical bands considered 'true black metal', namely Taake, Gorgoroth, early Mayhem, Burzum, they don't sound any like CoF.

@weinweltrheingau what? this is black metal, this is real black metal. it's better than the typical shit that's always been done over and over again, the only black metal bands that have stuck out are cradle of filth, emperor, covenant, graveworm and darkthrone and a few others. just because it's not satanic doesn't mean it's not black metal.
