I just came across some Lexani "Fire" wheels and wanted to sandblast to powder coat black with candy green diamonds. I've never sand blasted before. should I use fresh sand or is sandblasting a bad idea with alloy wheels?
Hello, yes you can strip the chrome, but using power and pulling the chrome off, when its plated the copper and nickel are pulled into the part you have to do it backwards or sandblast and it takes awhile
what about rims that have chrome on them but they are peeling from age and ware... is it possible to chemicly strip the aluminum rims and powder paint? I work in a powder coating factory so i have every single thing available
ach du scheiße - da steckt viel Arbeit drinne
