she knew the way someone in the crowd was looking at the policeman that it would be police when she turned her head to look. And she isn't a kid. She's a dwarfish woman who was malnnourished during early teen years. I can tell for sure by the way she walks away. Her gait shows complete bone calcification, not childish springing agility. Children have sponge like bones until they are 25. So she is close to or over 25.
