Here's a little video I made of Quake running on my DS. I'm loading it through an R4 and 2 gb micro-SD card.

  • @zsoltixx93 You don't need extra ram for Quake I, but you do for Quake II.

  • Do you need extra ram cartridge? Or just enough space in the slot 1 card?

  • doesnt work for some reason, it says not enough ram or something.

  • me and a friend of mine use the r4ds and both got lag form a 2gb card

  • i have a ttds and i want to download this. I know its homebrew so cudd you tell me where?

  • 2 gig if you just intend to run homebrew, 4 gig for homebrew + games, 8 gigs for homebrew, games, music.

    Just my opinion.

  • If you want to know, I got my R4DS card at realhotstuff()org

get the 2GB bundle, it's pretty obvious, yes, it's everything plus a 2GB Micro SD Card

Please note that if you're expecting an R4 Disc, don't think about it, they don't give away the discs anymore because you can just download the firmware for free on r4ds()com

you will need WinRar to open the files to extract the firmware files to the root of your Micro SD Card. Hope that helps you guys!

  • i cant get it working

  • I don't find it laggy.

  • R4 cards ftw :) instead try using a 1gb card for less lag
