Team RadX: Skate Jam

It was another day in the park. We were finished shooting a the Kite Boarding story when a kid on a wind powered skateboard set us off. The result was a skate jam, and when Team RadX athlete Ron "The Carvefather" Maita made an appearance, all normality went out the door. Narration: We were wrapping up our shoot for the kite surfing story you just saw we noticed something odd cruising the roadways. It was more boys with toys, and the result was an spontaneous skate jam.

His interview done and his kite beached, Elliott Pine has time to look around.

Innovation is the heart and soul of recreation. Jimmy's garage-made skate surfer is another example of how creativity leads to a good time.

The Carvefather caught wind of the action and stopped by to check it out. This Team RadX athlete won't be denied, and Ron even brought his own new toy.

Mike is a local real estate agent who was showing the park to a client looking for a home in the area.

That guy in the business suit was Mike's client, an accountant from New Jersey.

Before long Big John had the Carvefather doing handstands on a long board.

It took coaching and encouragement. Finally Ron started to get it.

What followed was a free for all skate jam on all sorts of wild street boards.
