shut kid u r so dumb thats only for the 3g and for the 2g u dont need that. 3g is easier than 2g bec. 2g u can mess up the digtizer so easy but in the 3g u can take the whole thing apart and the problem u will be facing getting the glass off the panel but at least u wont mess up the digitizer which going to be less pain or u can buy a new panel which is easier and u save time and pain in the ass any questionsss????

no they do not. i fix iphones for a living iphone 3g and 2g have TOTALLY different hookups all around.

You don't need a replacement LCD glass w/ digitizer for the 2G iphone. The glass without it works perfectly -- [ MENTAL NOTE ] ... the 2G doesn't need a digitizer attached to the replacement LCD glass for you to be able to repair it. Only the 3G does !
