Outstanding version of a little-known song. As "Rush And the Pepper" I have only seen this available in a book by Garry Harrison called "Dear Old Illinois." My group plays it with guitar, mountain dulcimer and hammered dulcmer but I LOVE hearing you play it on banjo !

Thanks for the kind words. I learned the tune from Garry and highly recommend his book. I think Cathy Fink has recorded it on solo banjo on one of her CDs, but otherwise I've only heard it at Illinois jams.
