The He Shou Wu used in this recipe was the whole root. You can get an easy to use extract (18x more concentrated than the whole root) of this amazing anti-aging herb by clicking the link below. An extract means that it doesn't even need to be brewed, but can be added directly to water, food, smoothies and elixirs:

I am announcing that I will be documenting my upcoming trip to the 3 week life change program at the Hippocrates Health Institute with video. I will share my adventures and stories online upon returning...

I also cover a basic Chinese tonic herb tea recipe that I use as a base for smoothies, elixirs and raw soups. Here is a link to an article I wrote about one the these super powerful adaptogenic herbs called Fo-Ti or He Shou Wu that I include in the tea that I demonstrate:

  • keep doing what your doing your part of the lifestyle brother love ya!!!

  • @VLADDEIMPALER7 Thanks, your username is pretty epic. I'm a big fan of Vlad, lol... I'll see if I can get more exuberant or something in my vids, the other one you commented on was long and full of scientific references and is bound to be a bit monotonous.

  • those herb shops in toronto (and fruit shops too) are really sketchy... they always seem willing to sell anything no matter what you ask them. The herb depot on spadina near college seemed okay and even gave me a consultation with a medical doctor. There is a larger one on dundas that seemed honest too; they had whole reishi.

  • @ChasinTranes Yeah many of them are sketchy. Sun Ming Hong on Dundas is great, they supply many of the TCM docs in and around T.O. Most of the herbs in this tea are from there! I didn't realize you lived in T.O.! I'm sure we'll meet someday perhaps... If I'm ever doing an event there, I'll post a video prior to it to let people know.

  • Great video!

  • Dude you look like the guy from the show Heros.... the male nurse ...the brother of the governor. Thats awesome!!! Your a Hero!!!

  • @SecretsOfLongevity It is fun exploring those herb shops though, if only they didn't smell so bad - all that dried fish! I go to school in Toronto so I live there most of the year. I'm back home in Windsor now for the summer but definitely let me know if you have any event I can check out.

  • @m33lad It's most well known for turning gray hair black but I've heard of some people experiencing hair re-growth. You're now more proof to me that this can occur! Thanks for sharing :)

  • @SecretsOfLongevity fo-ti will help to regrow hair right? :o

  • @m33lad Awesome!
