2010 Burn Run.MPG

Fire engines participating in the 2010 Burn Run parade through Coronado, CA with lights flashing and sirens screaming as they turn the corner of Orange Avenue and Seventh Street. They are on their way to the Coronado Fire Department where they will pick up the funds raised throughout the year from events such as the Boot Drive and Annual Spaghetti Dinner.

The next fundraiser will be the Annual Spaghetti Dinner on Sunday, July 11th, 2010 from 4-7pm at the Coronado Fire Department Headquarters, 1001 Sixth Street. All proceeds go to the Burn Institute to benefit burn injured children.

The quint was in for a maintenance check leaving only one engine at the station. The firefighters didn't feel it was prudent to leave the station empty in case there was a call. And as I waited to film the "parade", the CFD engine was called out. Good decision!
