HTC Hero Speed on Flicking through Pages

Please don't understand me wrong, I don't want to sound patronizing.

I'm asking this because I heard that a slow Hero CAN be caused by wrong use of Task Killers which "destroy" the apps by "killing" them.

I realised when I 1st tried it that selecting "Kill all Apps" will kill the running programs on the Home Screen like the clock, weather, Peep, etc... which is not a good thing as the phone will try and re-open them again!

Mine is from the UK! Never been tweaked, rooted or even had a reset done!

This is after a month of use & I know some people complaining of their lagging so I thought i'd post mine.

Let me guess: You did never use a Task Killer App, did you?

Of course I did!! I've installed 60 apps so far, one if which is TasKiller!

Having said that, i only used it twice! And yesterday was not one of those days!

is there a reason I sense a patronizing tone in your question?

Rumor has it that the Memory Card used plays a role in the lag and lack of it!

ye mem card is biggest issue, use a class 4 or 6 kingston and u dont have to worry about any lag (see my vid for other pointers) plus u can download new ROMS now of xdadevelopers and the official update will be in a few weeks

Mine is like that too. Claims of the lag is overrated, really.
