-Third place winner-
-peoples choice award-

This was our entry for the 2008 Hamilton 24 hour film festival. We had 24 hours to produce a short film no more than 5 minutes in length - using a prop, location type, and line of dialogue chosen at the kick-off meeting.

Prop: Plunger
Location: Playground
Line of dialogue: "Like you said, this is it, this is life!"

The films were screened for the public one week after the kick-off. A panel of industry judges selected the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners who were awarded thousands of dollars in prizes! Audience voting determined the People's Choice award; Films were also be presented to several industry leaders--who provided written feedback to the filmmakers!

  • how did you do the shot at 2:12?

  • set the camera up in the back of a van.

    cheers,

    mike

  • Nice Job those are damn hard festivals to create for , since the stipulations are so restrictive .. great job for a fast film

  • it was pretty tough making a short film in 24 hours, given we had no script pre written going in to the festival. It was a great time though. I think anyone interested in film should give a 24 hour festival a go. Its a great test of skill.

  • thats awesome, i hope you guy are doing the festival again this year

  • thank you very much!

we sure are! we are really stepping it up this year.

    cheers,

    mike
