He's truly a beaut dog, you're lucky to have him. My dad told me he once had a gorgeous german shep back in Hungary and it was also trained like a guard dog would be trained.

I adopted my GSD, Oberon when she was 2 yrs old--now seven. She is very well behaved except for her barking..., at everything (other dogs outside our house, people walking down the street, mail carriers, etc.)
I've praised her when quiet, spoken harshly when barking (never mean to her) but with no result. What should I try next? Please help...

@gordonjj Hi! Try to use Dogtra e-collar. Use the vibration system and associate his behavior with the e-collar surprise.
