Packed with never before seen functionalities Nova Dynamics sets new standards to floor-based dynamics control. Its dual engine design offers a variety of setup and control options that allow you to tailor Nova Dynamics to fit your rig. Use the two engines for different compression settings or switch between stomp compression for that classic "squash" and TC's advanced multiband compression for subtle, studio-style dynamics control. You can even split the two engines in Nova Dynamics and have a compressor in front of your amp and noise gate in your amp effects loop for true noise reduction of high gain signals.

The Dry Blend feature lets you blend your dry signal in with the compressed signal for optimized attack with no eating into the dynamics while the automatic input gain adjustment on both engines brings perfect settings for e.g. both a Strat and a Les Paul at the flick of a switch.

  • @diegofr90 I know some are going to frown when they hear this is a digital compressor pedal. But there's many advantages to that since technology is shared with TC's dynamic rack effects and software used by many top notch studios world wide e.g. for mastering. Amongst other things the attack is fast and precise (even Bumblefoot remarked on that) and I find that makes it track really well. If you want one you'd better hurry as they're discontinued.

  • How this stand next to the dynacomp? I was about to get the dyna but now i watched this and i really like this comp. Any suggestions?

  • Respond to this video... yes it will. but you must remember that were paying attention to velocity in power going from and to the stomp. in other words how loud and plucky it sounds. a thumb still has that pluckiness to it, its just lower frequencies.

  • @StefanPriceUK listen to the velocity of the guitar with and without the compression. there are plenty of good quality videos on the stomp. but idealy were not looking at thumb vs pick, were looking at ratios of volumes and sustains in the velocity of the power going to and from the pedal. the stomp is digital so its going to sound transparent, or mostly transparent, as far as eq goes (unless in studio mode).

  • @Shufflekings this doesn't sound like its stereo. the compression and verb can both be set up in stereo. if i'm not mistaken, nova enjoys making stereo equipment. so if you chain a bunch of novas together at one point in your board, then you can send them to two different amps and have completely different sounds/tones.

yes theoretically you can have it set in stereo, you just would need to split the guitar/input thing and send half of it to the L and half to R

  • @FUNKMASTERFOURTWO CUP. yes. dude you can use it for anything.

  • can you use this pedal for bass

  • What amp are you using and do you have it set-up in stereo? It sounds Great!

  • So a good demo of something at last, everytime I find a demo of something they are always using a pick and so I can't tell what it sounds like.

  • He's playing with his thumb. That's gonna effect the sound alot.
