if you break it down. they're abstracting elements from the earth to better themselves, while the very source of their emporwerment is crumbling beneath their feet, and the sand creature/statue might represent earths struggle.

The giant man at the beginning was representing the Earth, in pain as more and more humans started to take things from the ground. Suddenly everything became industrialised and common workers were killed off. They started to push their needles deep into the ground and push forwards their houses which spread further and further. Then they made citys and the need for energy was even more and they took energy from the very core of the Earth until it finally crumbled away. :3

@MerlinsJester I very much so disagree but I respect you for not just agreeing with the first person to use a reasonable tone, we need more people like you.

Nice animation. I liked your message as well.. good job... Thumbs up :)

@MerlinsJester May be dull, may not be original, but until the day that the world changes, this kind of art is needed. Art needs to criticise the natural order of society, change must come from somewhere.

A dull, banal message about how industrialism is evil and that we're going to rip Earth apart in our endeavors.
Really? Hasn't this same stupid bullshit been recycled, for lack of a less ironic term, dozens of times since industry began? Sheesh, get an original idea, people.

@MerlinsJester
I am really sorry my animation didn't entertain you enough.
Just have in mind that people will keep expressing themselves on issues or feelings, whether others have done that before or not. As far as I know there is more than one film/book/song out there talking about any social issue that has bothered humanity?
Thank you for taking the time to watch it though and write your thoughts.
