  • Yeah.. socialmail is awesome. It changed thunderbird for me, giving it new life. I have tried it on unintuitive as well. Works fine. I appreciate it...

    Zuma isn't bad either.

  • I tried. Not working..

  • @pathinterpreter ...Specifically, what do you mean not working? You couldn't install it or you can't watch the video... Your statement is very vague.

The plug-in works in Ubuntu and Windows - I tested it in both.

  • Doesn't seem to be compatible with Firefox 3.6.5 tring to install in Thunderbird..

  • i'm using your SocialMail on my mac thunderbird. pretty good. cuz i once used an application called PostBox which contains web services like facebook information and twitter infomation. It fetches those social network information directly from fb and twitter according to the sender's email address of the current mail. this is what i chose SocialMail for. and from your video i discovered you play zuma too. xD

  • It seems to do everything EXCEPT allow management of messages from and to social networking sites (Twitter, FB, etc) with Thunderbird's normal message listing and reading interface—the one thing that i was actually after.

Another dead end in my quest for something that simply adds Twitter API support, so i can basically add it as an account, and read and post via the usual, practical user interface. :\

  • @lehenryjr The plug-in is not working as expected. The video does work.
