Not much to be pride for! She speaks and writes Vietnamese well, but when spoke to a 100% of Vietnamese audiences, she spoke in English. Very bad impression that I had for her.

I have lived in Los Angeles for about 15 years now, and so, occasionally, I watch the news on CBS. But when it comes to Leyna Nguyen casting the news, I immediately switch the channel. Why? I watch the news to pick up the mainstream American accent. Leyna got none. Betty Nguyen is the real deal. Not sure why CBS puts her on the broadcast. Maybe they pay her peanuts. Oh, I work in the entertainment industry and the rumor is she's a bitch.

@samantha34ize If you're going to criticise other people's intellect, you should learn how to spell properly, and watch your grammar.

She was born in S. Vietnam, I knew her as that four year old little girl living with the neighbor who sponsored the family. The family worked hard to attain the American dream and were successful at doing so. They arrived with nothing and have shared and given back much to both countries. Most people from Vietnam because of the culture are reserved. not stuck up. She should be proud of her accomplishments. I know that I am proud of Leyna and her family.
