Independent Living

Often Independent Living Services are seen as a one way street, service provided to the youth, but Kids Central Incorporated has developed its Independent Living Service program to make that street go both ways. Certainly, the hope is that youth will develop skill sets they can use throughout their adult life, however the community could be a real beneficiary of the youth's learning experience. With capacity development, integration of collaborative activities, engagement of the youth and their communities, development of meaningful relationships and development of relevant educational opportunities everyone will benefit from Kids Central's Independent Living program.
