"Faithless Love" is from Linda Ronstadt's 1974 Capitol album, Heart Like A Wheel. The fine vocal harmony is provided by the song's writer, John David Souther.

  • I remember the first time I heard this song on KSAN puttering along in my VW bug. Just made the hair on the back of neck stand right up. Hey, ain't nothin', just got something in my eye that's all.

  • Beautiful song. I've always loved the bridge at 01:40

  • Love Linda ~

    Peace,

  • Sometimes you get the "perfect storm" in a record - the right song, sung by the right singer, with a great vocal and instrumental arrangement. "Faithless Love" by Linda Rondstadt is one of those perfect storms. I'd put Glen Campbell's versions of "By The Time I Get To Phoenix" and "Wichita Lineman" in the same category.

  • I absolutely love this

  • The perfect song is seldom recorded by the perfect artist. With exceptions like this. Flawless, absolutely perfect. This stands up to anything ever done, anything ever written.
