hold up. the dub known as the pioneer dub is the bad. the streamline dub from 1989 was the best dub just thought i'd throw that out there

@MrShadowzs I haven't seen very much anime and I'm new to the medium but from the little I've seen my favorites are Code Geass, Death Note, Hellsing Ultimate, and Baccano.

@GAMERCENTER23 Long story short... Tetsuo's powers becomes too powerful because he took too many experimental drugs which causes his psychokinetic powers to become unstable. All the psychokinetic energy that Tetsuo produces causes AKIRA to be resurrected. Tetsuo's body becomes unstable and turns into a blob. The ressurrected AKIRA decides to take Tetsuo into a different dimension to suppress his energy so that they could no longer hurt anyone and themselves again.

I think this movie is more religious related than of superhero relation. Akira looks like a messiah figure. But I could be wrong, but's that's what i got from the movie. and love the music.

Akira was the first anime I ever knowingly saw and put me off anime for 5 years because of the Tetsuo monster thing at the end which was just too weird. I watched it recently and it is actually really good and made more sense now I'm older.
