Obviously Steve Perry....the articulation and diction is clearly Steve's signature trademark. Arnel, while having a good voice, has not mastered the American diction or Steve's trademark vibrato. The emotion in this version is SP all the way!

@hdrazz5 im not from the journey generation and i can easily tell tell the difference between arnel and steve. Perry is so much better than arnel and blows away the whores from glee.

This is Steve Perry singing who ever can't tell the difference is not from the Journey Generation, The wanna be Perry can't get all the lyrics out in clear English even though he does a good job still very easy to tell them apart!

The voice you're hearing is none other that Steve Perry. To say otherwise means you don't know shit about Journey.

This is Arnel, but it's good. If you want to hear Perry listen to the Faithfully posted by Sonybmg. I don't hate Arnel. I grew up in the 80s and Perry was da man, but Neal and the boys wanted to go back on tour and Perry didn't do what needed to be done (the hip replacement) so Journey couldn't be hamstrung by his choice. I miss Steve, his voice is angelic to say the least, but Arnel also has a respectable set of pipes. LIfe goes on, roll with the punches.
