Sincere & great amount of respect to Sean Penn!!! Humans can progress in life when someone with confidence and talent, such as Sean Penn & even the other nominees, bravely take on roles that carry a great message and strong lesson to those who listen as much as they watch.

actors nothing more then professional liers why give them awards at all for being able to become something they are not . if that is the case lets give lawyers or car salesmen awards .

I don't have enough space to answer this. Will say that had family/friends fought w/ Castro & Che for "democracy". When realized reality, were imprisoned, tortured, executed. Family there now live with no freedom or rights and in complete poverty. Castro and the regime live very well, best of medical care, plenty of food no struggles. While the previous leader (Batista) was far from democratic, what Castro & Che did was so much worse. Have read Cuban history at length, too many things to say.
