  • My weight loss doctor (with him I lost 60 lbs in 3-4 months. Gained some back when I lost my job on the holidays, but I'm no where near where I was) advised that we should eat 10 kcal for every pound we want to weigh. Why are we confused as to why the average american weighs between 200-240 when we're eating a "recommended 2,000" kcal diet?

  • Super simple: Babies cry, they're fed. Food isn't always why they cry (perhaps lonely, need contact), but the food is comforting and shuts them up. Years later when we feel that loneliness again we turn to what we know to fix it, except now rather than a bottle of formula, its a burger.

We should really be eating small meals all day, yet in school children only have 1 lunch period. To end obesity, we need to look at a lot of things.

  • You look a young grad student, not a Doctor and experienced one at that. No wonder people give you trouble.

  • Actually I'd say you didn't do half bad, 'cept that slip up around 1:20, like Lucian said.

Also holy crap, you actually ARE a real person! :P

  • Rob, I think you're my hero. -Wayland

  • Cool stuff

  • Ahaha, you were doing well until about 1:20.
