Tri-Valley wasn't able to climb back to the top of the Muskingum Valley League in 2011, but the Scotties didn't make it easy for the competition.
With five senior starters, Tri-Valley highlighted its season with the school's first-ever Division I tournament win and nearly upset Central District power Walnut Ridge with a double-overtime loss.
For the 2nd year Storied Rivals was hired to follow the Scotties on the hardwood, as they tried to continue their rich basketball tradition.
