You're right. Homosexuality has nothing to do with it. One person is joined with another by laws of the state, despite sexual orientation, gender, fashion sense, musical taste...in fact, nothing should have to do with marriage except love. And your right, a counterfeit love will never last. Why should a homosexual person pretend to love someone of the opposite gender to gain the benefits of being married?
