@humanice2 Different things scare different people, I thought Chucky was funny when I was a kid. Silence of the Lambs was and is still one of my favorite movies and I saw it first when I was 8. Staring at the cold lifeless eyes of a recently deceased cartoon fish, who just was up dancing and singing in a cartoon for kids was surprising AND unnerving for me. And as a result, I shat bricks. If the same things scared everybody, there wouldn't be the need for so many subgenres of horror.
