where is this footage from?

Bah! Without the Ramones this band wouldn't even exist and The Ramones did listen to the stones,The Beatles and Elvis.
-
I like the description of this video... "No elvis, beatles, or the rolling stones
In 1977"...so true

@NeilThompson30 Don't forget Ska and Reggae. Joe was very influenced by those.
-
@wzaxx but get ready for some abuse from some old punks who accuse you of ripping off the clash and say "that's not punk rock!"
-
@conawillvlog boo this man

This isn't 1977 but hey London's Burning is a great song as well. Punk rock? Sock puppets? Watch the video on my channel.

Be nice if it was 1977, but London's Burning is nice too. Ironic but (early August 2011).

hi bob, i have the full film/documentary.
it is in munich.their 1st tour here in 77.shit i was 2 years too young
@pitchforkcustom I know what the influences of London Calling are - I'm not an idiot! - they didn't develop - I love the blues, rockabilly and rock 'n' roll - but I'd like to remember the Clash as the group they set out to be - a Punk Rock group - Joe wouldn't be laughing at me at all - the blues, rockabilly and rock 'n' roll IS a three chord lifestyle!
