Documentary about the 25th and last bombing mission of a B17, the "Memphis Belle". The "Memphis Belle" took part in a great bombing raid on sub-pens in Wilhelmshafen, Germany. On their way they encounterd heavy AA fire and interceptors.

@DeutschPorsche My Grandpa was the Bombardier of the B-29 "Miss Donna Lee". He was based in Tinian, India.

He also bombed Japan. I am afraid there are more videos of B-17's. But they are all great planes and great men, and I think they should be created equally.

It may have been a PR stunt and used loaded wording for the old subliminal message. But you cannot deny the fact they did it. Admittedly the US crews only did 25 and home with the requirement rising as the war went on. ( The RAF and Luftwaffe being a your in it till it ends usually one way or the other) but just watch it and admire what people did for their beliefs on both side's of a conflict the type of which we shall hopefully never see again.
