After Ringo and the All-Starrs finished up their Radio City Music Hall show last Wednesday with With A Little Help From My Friends and Give Peace A Chance, he was joined onstage by Jeff Lynne, Yoko Ono, Mark Rivera and others. A grand birthday cake made in the form of a Ludwig drumset was wheeled out and presented by his grandchildren immediately afterward. After Ringo blows out the candles and tells everyone goodnight, there is a yet another surprise awaiting him. Once he is backstage, Paul McCartney who had been sitting in the last row of the audience during the show, takes the stage and begins playing Birthday (not the traditional Happy Birthday song but the White Album Birthday). Of course a surprised Ringo comes back out to the stage and joins in on drums.
