The Mighty Micro Computer!! This series was designed for schools and showed them how to use the computer. Really vintage clip for computer and school fanatics! From 1984.

  • Ian Trackman is one hell of an outstanding nerd in this. Exactly what a software consultant *should* look like - not the pony-tailed, pierced, weed smoking, girl dating extroverts they are today.

  • I can't believe I'm watching this after 25 years.

    Thanks for posting this video.

I remember my ZX81, Spectrum and Commodore 64 from the 80's. I had great fun programming them. The BBC micro was a bit out of my budget, but my school had one (didn't most schools in the UK have them?).

    Happy days :)

  • @NameNotaNumber He has the air of Nyder from "Genesis of the Daleks" (particular the bit about having a little man wiping things out).

  • epic cheese

  • When I was at secondary school which was from the early to mid 1980's the school had 6 BBC Micro Model B computers which I remember using when I was a pupil.

So it's cool to watch this clip but I don't ever remember seeing this first time around when I was still in school.

I was still using these in 2005 at school (was a crap school, still stuck in the 80s tech wise). Seeing this was amazing, the Beeb was what got me into computers.
