stupid crowd....oh well when bands like fall out boy and artist like lady gaga are at the top of the food chain its no suprise that people's heads are so far up thier asses that they can't hear pure art screaming at them.

The reason they changed their name is because they have different members. I talked to Jeremy Enigk when the Fire Theft was in Minneapolis and asked him why they didn't play any SDRE songs - He said, "The songs he wrote with Dan Hoerner can't be played without Dan. Songs are personal and I don't want to take that from Dan." ... SDRE and The Fire Theft are 2 different bands and despite the similarities there is a uniqueness of each band.

They Didnt Use The Name SUNNY DAY REAL ESTATE Because They Have Integrity, Something Very Few, If Any Have In Music These Days. I Think It Is Incredibly Admirable That That Had The Balls To NOT Rely On The Name

I'd say out of all the songs this is the most similiar to SDRE. Songs like Summertime, Waste Time and Houses, though, do seem to signify a new sound.

Yes, you're right. I've been to plenty of British concerts where people were noisy - but seriously - Jeremy Enigk!! That's like being noisy while God gives his views!
