Hey man. I like the bike. I have a question.. Do you have any oil burning problems? I am about to buy a 08+ cbr1000rr but I'm becoming scared of this problem. And I don't want any other bike. I currently have a 06 cbr600rr.

Got any feedback on that?

@Notyourfriend123 I've heard of Honda's having that problem. I check my oil all the time because it does get low for some reason, but can't see it burning or smoking. I had an '05 Repsol that burned oil and eventually crapped the bed. Check the Honda forums for related issues with oil burning

@kylafornia24 that was over 3 years ago when the video was taken. Just bout the bike, no money for gear. When the video was taken there was gear on the way. Since then I have two sets of everything. Full leathers, gloves, boots, helmets, everything. I myself have had the unfortunate experience of witnessing some serious crashes and fatalities

@Wonderboy0987 Also.... I saw your video of you on the yellow 929rr. And please don't be offended, but GET SOME FRIGGIN GEAR dude!! I say that as a concerned rider who has had 2 friends die on bikes from wearing sweatshirts, tennis shoes and no jackets. You don't always need a full suit, but for the love of God get some good riding boots, alpinestars sp-2 gloves and a good leather jacket with pads inside. That is all, good day sir.
