The Mosque of the Prophet Muhammad

Recently I had the ability to visit the city and mosque of the Prophet Muhammad (Medina, KSA), may Allah's blessings and mercy be upon him!

This one of the best places in the world, and one of the most historically significant. It is the where the Prophet Muhammad, the final Messenger to all humankind, migrated after almost 10 years of severe persecution of him and his followers in Mecca. In Medina the revelation continued for about 13 years. Large portions of the Quran were revealed and significant events took place. The Mosque here is the second best place to pray in the world, after the Holy Sanctuary in Mecca, and the third is the Mosque in Jerusalem, Palestine. These three sites are the holiest places on the Earth.

The early Muslims were only fought against, starved, and tortured because they believed in one God and equal justice for all. There were no classes of people, they were not to be exploited by paying taxes to the ruling class, or to be subjected to humiliation, all people were to be dealt with in the same fair way. It didn't depend if you were poor or rich, black or white. This best way of life, Islam, which worships Allah as one without partner or associate was brought to this land, to the Prophet Muhammad almost 1400 years ago.

Any good in this effort is from Allah and any mistakes are from myself and Satan the rejected one.
